Toraj Rahimi and Seyda are delighted to share their knowledge with others. They have already trained many students in the field of intarsia art at the Universities of Tehran and Tabriz.
In the first part of our workshops, participants will learn how to use the fret saw. In the second part, each participant will create their own intarsia artwork based on simple motifs they have selected.
Prior knowledge in intarsia techniques or in handling fret saws (bow saws) is not required, because in Part 1, the use of the saw is taught, and in Part 2, participants create their own intarsia pictures.
The material required for the intarsia artworks is included in the course fee.
The 2-part workshops take place every 1st and 3rd week of each month, always on Friday and Saturday.
