Clients worldwide submit templates for personalized inlay artworks. From over 1,000 kilograms of wood pieces, Toraj Rahimi carefully selects and combines the most suitable parts. Individual pieces may be replaced repeatedly until the harmony of colors satisfies both the artist and the client’s vision. This meticulous process often requires considerable time, demanding patience from clients, but the result is always a unique, sustainable, and enduring piece of art.
There is also strong demand for works inspired by previously sold pieces. For instance, the ballet dancer has been recreated several times. Yet, because each work is crafted from different woods, every piece remains unique, with a fresh and distinct appearance shaped by the natural color and grain of the materials.
Another example is The Egyptian Carpet Market, which has been reinterpreted with a slightly different house façade. Measuring 1 × 1.5 meters, this artwork will, upon completion, be sent to Australia.
